v    The club bulletin, the Bayou Gusher, is mailed to all members monthly.  Monthly meeting notices are also mailed. 

v    Meetings are normally held the third Thursday evening of every month.  The location is announced a month in advance at the regular membership meeting, and a meeting notice is also mailed to each member.  The usual schedule is:

5:30 - 6:00            Social/Networking

6:00 - 7:00            Dinner

7:00 - 8:00        Speaker and Business Meeting

v    The Board of Directors meets at a separate meeting, sometimes a different night of the month from the membership meeting, and at other times may choose to meet immediately prior to the membership meeting.

v    There are currently 16 committees (which welcome volunteers by the way!).  A list of committees and current chairmen is printed in each Gusher.  The responsibilities of each committee and chairman are outlined in the Bylaws (Tab 5).

v    Reservations for the monthly dinner/meeting are due to the General Arrangements Chairman by noon on the day before the meeting, unless otherwise indicated.  Telephone contacts and details are published in the Gusher. 

v    Perfect attendance (attending all 12 regular monthly meetings) is recognized at the December meeting.

v    The Baton Rouge Club was chartered in 1951.
